Hever response

Lesson aims:
1       Investigate the types of graphic media, techniques and technology in the Hever Castle shop and surrounding areas

2       Be able to use graphic media, techniques and technology to record findings 




Starter Recap: 
Class discussion on the trip: with teacher showing examples of photographs

Main Task: Organizing sketchbooks
1.     Teacher to hand out sketchbook planner
2.     Learners to use pencils to write in page by page planner / adapting to own response (some will have done more pages).  The planner is based on the minimum response.



Main Task: Recording our trip
1.     Class discussion on Hever, its displays, signs, flyers, maps.
2.     RECAP THE BRIEF: Create a Graphic book / then the display
3.     Teacher to explain page layout required for response to Hever castle trip.  Leaners to record in sketchbooks lists of requirements.

Plenary
Class discussion on re requirements of the brief and what we have done, where we are now, where we are going,

REMINDER: ALL RUBBINGS TO BE IN BOOKS ON SELECTED PAGES BY NEXT TUESDAY
REMINDER: ALL PHOTOS MUST BE IN ARTS AND MEDIA DRIVE BY WEDNESDAYS LESSON
